Gouly Boss's Trip to the US—Successfully Solved the Problem of Frequent Flickering and Dimming of Pixel Lights
Boss Gouly personally addressed LED pixel light issues of frequent flickering and gradual dimming during extended operation in the United States
This September, two executives from our company traveled to the United States, invited to address long-standing issues faced by some American clients. These issues primarily manifested as frequent flickering or gradual dimming of LED pixel lights over extended periods of operation.
To effectively address the challenges of flickering and insufficient brightness, our executives proposed and successfully implemented two main solutions on-site.
The first approach:
Firstly, we recommended adding an amplifier at the front end of the extension line connector between the controller and the lights. This straightforward yet effective approach enhances signal transmission, improving the stability of the lighting system.
Secondly, we emphasized the critical importance of power supply. To ensure an ample power source, it is advised to inject power approximately every 10 to 20 meters. Direct current cables should be kept short to facilitate swift power injection into the lights, while alternating current cables can be longer without significant length restrictions, connecting to the sockets.
It is crucial to note that during the troubleshooting process, a thorough examination of the voltage and current of the power supply is essential to ensure compliance with the requirements of LED pixel lights. Insufficient voltage or current may lead to flickering or dimming. Additionally, checking the connectivity of the lines and plugs is imperative. Ensuring their secure fastening is vital, as loose connections may contribute to frequent flickering or dimming of the lights.
Finally, meticulous examination of the controller's programming is necessary to ensure it is appropriately configured for the specific LED pixel lights in use. Improper programming can result in issues with brightness and flickering, such as configuring essential parameters like IC type, color channels, and the number of lights on the app's settings interface.
By comprehensively implementing these measures, we believe we can effectively address the challenges of frequent flickering and gradual dimming in LED pixel lights. These methods are designed to enhance the stability and reliability of the lighting system, ensuring outstanding performance over extended periods of operation.
